Sometimes simple is sensible.............these cards are great for mass production. You can churn quite a few of these out in a short space of time.
Just change the colours for variety and choose matching coloured markers to your DS papers for each card. You could even change the greetings on some for variation too. I love the size and detail on these ornaments from Merry & Type, they fill a card nicely and require little else.

9 Weeks to go!!!!!!!!!!
For this week's installment of my Xmas countdown, I have featured the DS Papers Be Of Good Cheer. The hardest part was choosing which patterns to use in my 5 strips of paper, they are all gorgeous in this set! The colour combo is Gumball Green & Cherry Cobbler, with vanilla as the neutral.
The other main features are the decorative edge using the dotted scallop ribbon border punch; the greeting is from Perfect Punches which is cut out with matching scallop circle punch. Also, it's hard to tell in the photo but the ornaments are actually embossed with Cherry Cobbler embossing powder for that extra bit of shine!

10 weeks to go!!!!
Time for a little "vintage". I absolutely love how this card turned out. I think it is mainly because I really had no plan at the start except for wanting a vintage look and a collage approach.
I wont list all the stamps I've used (you can see why), but the steps I took were:
* created collage of words/greetings all over background using versa mark ink.
* sponged edges with crumb cake ink.
* stamped images from Delicate doilies in colour. Stamped larger images again on DS paper and hand cut out for middle flowers.
* added brads and ribbon.
* cut out labels using Apothecary Accents Framelits die using big shot & Modern Label punch.

11 weeks till Christmas!!
OK, for the 2nd week of my countdown I've added some bling!!
There are a few features of this card I'd like to point out:
* the silver tree is created by embossing in silver
* the striped panel behind it is patterned DS from the In Color Paper stack which has been sprayed with Smooch Spritz (silver foil).
* the "bling" is Rhinestone basic jewels.
Hope you like it!!

12 Weeks till Christmas (Oh my)
Ok, scary thought I know. But it is what it is, so why not embrace it?
The first project I have to show you was inspired by the lovely work of Claire Daly. I was drawn to the colours and DS papers and went from there. I have used my favourite (now retired) "Dasher" stamp. The "Merry Christmas" is from the very useful Hostess set Mixed Medley. It's great that so many of our stamps have either a coordinating punch or die to match. Anything that saves time is a winner with me. Both Mixed medley and the Festival of Prints DS paper stack, are available in the current holiday mini catty.
Why not put your Christmas projects supplies list together now and take advantage of our October Promotion. See details below.
