It's time to Sale-a-brate!!!

This is one of the most exciting promotions in our Stampin' Up calendar! You don't want to miss this. From today until the end of March is our "Sale-a-bration" promotion where everyone can earn free sets of stamps. Click on the brochure in the right hand bar to see the wonderful stamp sets you can get for free!!!!
The card above uses the adorable new bird cage stamp which is part of the "Happy Moments" set. I have teamed it up with the tree image from "Thoughts and prayers" and then used the coordinating colours as featured in the DS paper available in our current Summer mini catalogue, Tall Tales. I added an extra piece of this paper to a Build-a-brad for my embellishment. You could use this stamp and this card for so many occasions.
So what are you waiting for, check out the brochure and see just how easy it is to get your limited edition stamp sets for free. If you would like a copy of the brochure or the Summer Mini just send me your details and I'll pop one in the post for you.
Haiti Relief Fundraiser
From now until the end of Feb Stampin' Up have organised to donate $2 from the sale of every I{heart} hearts stamp set, from the Summer Mini catalogue, pg 6, to the American Red Cross for Haiti relief. Stampin' Up always support much needed disaster relief and this is no different. Order this set of stamps as part of your Sale-a-bration order and you will be doing your part to help! Contact me today. Orders can be posted to anywhere in Australia.

A scrapbook page

I've been catching up on some scrapbooking over the holiday period, and you can see from this layout how "behind" I am. I'm getting there!! I've kept this layout very simple in it's design with no added embellishments. Instead I have let the stamping be the focus and absolutely love how the tree decorations and Christmas tree have turned out by using markers on the stamps in the coordinating colours featured in the paper and photos. All products used for this layout are from Stampin' Up although some are now retired.

I'll have some more pages for you soon.

Competition!!!

Hi all,
Well it's my 3rd anniversary of being a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and I thought I would celebrate by giving you the chance to receive the gifts!!!!!
Below is a card I have made and what you need to do is leave me a comment telling me which 4 different stamp sets I have used to make the card.

So here is the card:
I just love this card. It uses Kraft CS as the base and then I have used the gorgeous Bella Blue DS papers. I have sponged around the pieces in Chocolate chip ink and Not quite navy. These are the colours the images are stamped in as well. So which stamp sets have I used?????? I will give you one clue: One of the sets was in our Spring Mini catalogue.
The competition will close on Jan 16th when one winner will be drawn from all the correct answers. Your prize will be the Level 2 hostess set Autumn Flair and a Stampin' Up note pad and fridge magnet.

Good luck to everyone! Competition is open to Australian residents only.

More summer catalogue samples

Here are some more samples for you from our current mini catalogue. To view this catalogue online simply click on the image in the right side bar. If you would like a copy of your own just drop me a line and I'll send one to you. Orders can be placed anytime for any amount and I can have your order posted to anywhere in Australia.

First up is my animal card using the Tall Tales DS papers. I have used two different sheets from this set and simply teamed them up with some whisper white CS for the main card and the coordinating Old Olive CS. The "Happy birthday" greeting is from Stem sayings and I have used the omitting technique to just use the phrase once. The buttons are from our designer buttons, Button Latte. Please note the wide Chocolate Chip ribbon is actually on sale this month in our Inventory Clearance for $14.96

Next is a card using the For Everything stamp set. I have kept this one fairly simple and "clean". Sometimes I really like the less is more theory. By stamping the pink flower on a separate piece, cutting it out and raising it up on a Stampin' dimensional, this gave the card a little more depth. Then I simply added a small scalloped piece down the right hand edge for a little splash of extra colour. What do you think?

My last sample for this post features our new Polka Dot grosgrain ribbon. The best part about this ribbon is that on the other side it just has the double stitched edge so you get two different design options in the one ribbon! I have also used the new Playground Designer buttons. (Note:The yellow one is actually a rhinestone brad available in our Idea book and catalogue). I wanted to also highlight the Pink Flamingo DS paper I have used here as this is also on special in our Inventory clerance this month for $12.71.

Supplies:
Card base: Tempting Turquoise
Other: Whisper White; Pixie Pink; Kaleidoscope DS paper.
Stamps: For Everything
Other: Cutting kit (to distress edges); Scallop Oval punch; Oval punch (One oval punched out in Pixie Pink, then cut in two and spread out so able to be seen at each end under the scalloped oval) PLEASE NOTE: Even though the scallop oval punch was in the Spring Mini which has now ended, the scallop oval punch is still available for $30.95.
