Spice Cake Share

Hi stampers! As I said in my last post both Sale-a-bration AND the Summer Mini are almost at an end. My favourite range in the mini catty was the Spice Cake range. If you are like me and would love to have "a bit of everything", BUT can't afford it all then read on..................

I have a last minute share before it's gone. For $20 you will get:
1/4 share of the DS paper in 6x6" size; 2 of each of the 4 button colours (ie 8 buttons); 1/4 share of the matching fabric and 1 each of the 5 matching colours in A4 cardstock. (soft suede, pool party, pear pizazz, more mustard & river rock). So enough to make 10 cards!!!!!!!!!!!!
PLUS you will also receive a share of the SAB freebies including the DS paper and matching embellishments in the Everyday enchantment range.

Send me an email asap if you want to snap up this special offer. It's only $20 and you get the extra SAB freebies thrown in.

Cards using the big shot.

I've been making a lot of cards lately using mainly DS papers and embellishments, rather than a lot of stamping. I haven't stamped on the cards above at all. The sentiments are rub ons on the second set of cards. With the pastel coloured set I have run a piece of white cardstock through the big shot with a textured folder, but then I have cut around just part of the design to create my motifs. I love how these look. You can create so many individual designs this way. The big shot has also been used for the top note shape, and the die cut flowers in the purple cards. Remember I always use ALL Stampin up products on my cards. Why use anything else when they look this good!
Sale-a-bration starts tomorrow. Invest in the big shot now and get free products while you're at it!!!

Baby Cards & Sale-a-bration

Yes, I'm still in love with the DS papers and the ribbons & brads accessories pack that are both up for grabs FOR FREE when Sale-a-bration starts Jan 24th. ARE YOU READY???? I've used the calypso coral for the girl baby card, and the pool party/lucky limeade combo for the boys. I've added a strip of victorian lace on both to give that softer, delicate feel to the cards.

Happy New Year

Sale-a-bration is ALMOST HERE!!!!!! I know many of you are waiting for this great event and you won't be disappointed. This year we not only have 4 wonderful stamp sets to choose from (I'll be back later with posts featuring those!), but also the gorgeous DS papers and ribbons/brads collection you see in the photos below. I have been having SO MUCH FUN using these new designs. They really are divine. The brads have delightful little patterns on them to match the papers and this makes it very easy to create a project in no time.

As you can see, there is very little stamping on these cards. The papers, ribbon and brads are beautiful enough to take centre stage!
Start getting your orders together and stock up on those basics like neutral cardstock, adhesives and even new blades for your paper cutter! It's the perfect time to get your craft supplies ready for a new year of crafting AND GET wonderful freebies while you're at it.!!!!!!!
Those of you on my mailing list look out for your email about my EXTRA OFFER for the first 6 people to place their order of $100 or more.
If you'd like a copy of the Sale-a-bration brochure and/or our current mini catalogue, please send me an email. I'll put links up on my side bar when it all starts on January 24th.

Free stamps!!!!

Todays cards use stamps from the Sale-a-bration stamp set "Punch Bunch" which can be yours for free!!!!!! So have a look below and then get your orders together and email me so you don't miss out!!
This card alos uses the Top Note die and Lots of tags with the Big Shot; and Short and Sweet stamp set. The heart and owl have both been cut out with our punches.
This card shows how an image can be used however you wish by using markers. I have used the entire image on the main flower shaped greeting, but only used the flowers for the top piece and just repeatedly stamped them along the card. You can't tell here but the scalloped flower is actually punched out of the front and the stamped image is adhered to the inside of the card.

This is the perfect boy card, bold and fairly plain. Again the background is created with the Big Shot and then punches pretty much do the rest!!! I love tools that make craft simple and quick!
So go through your wish list and stock up on your supplies so you can get this or one of the other three gorgeous stamp sets for free.

Another sample using our free stamps!!

Quick and easy cards get a big tick of approval from me these days. While this card used quite a few bits and pieces to create, it was straight forward and took hardly any time at all!
So I have used not one but 3 of our SAB sets of stamps which as you all know are free till the end of March with a qualifying order or party.
The flowers are from "Happy moments", the frame around the greeting is from "Vintage labels" and the greeting is from "Whismical words". Because the frames in our labels set are designed to match our existing punches perfectly, it made creating this card so easy. Hint: punch the hole in your card front first, then with the card closed, stamp the image in the hole created so it all lines up perfectly.
Other materials used: Always Artichoke CS , grosgrain ribbon and ink. Blender pens and Pink passion ink pad. Stamp-a-ma-jig, snail adhesive.
You could really "step up" this card with other colours and layers of CS, sponging round the edges etc
Have a play and see what you can come up with!
Happy Stamping,

P.S One of my favourite Stampin' Up Demonstrator blogs (as included in my blog list in the side bar) will be closing soon. Karen Thomas's blog "Luv to stamp" will end during March. Make sure you visit her blog before she goes and see all the amazing creations she has on there.

Vintage labels with a difference!

I just adore these Kaleidoscope DS papers, it will be hard to say goodbye to them when the Summer mini finishes at the end of March. It is also hard to go past FREE STAMPS!!!!!! This card features one of our 2010 Sale-a-bration stamps, "Vintage Labels" which I've seen samples of popping up everywhere in blogland. I tried to do something a little bit different.

I have stamped the oval image 3 times on white CS and then punched them out with the wide oval punch. I then just lined them up along the side and adhered a piece of DS paper over the top. So quick and easy!! Doesn't it make a great border pattern! Then to continue the oval theme I then grabbed my small oval punch and punched a variety of "petals" from the same papers to create my flower. The greeting is also from the Vintage Labels set, I have punched this out with our 1" circle punch. A piece of white grosgrain ribbon and it's done!

If you wish to get hold of this set, or any of the other free stamp sets available, make sure you email me soon as time is running out. Remember these are limited edition sets which you will not see again. I will have more cards to show you throughout the next couple of weeks.

Happy Stamping,
