Christmas cards No.7
A little "vintage". I was blog surfing and came across a card on the amazing site of Danielle Daws and was immediately inspired. I loved the idea of using the negative image of a punched out shape. So I grabbed for my ornament punch and started creating. I added sponging around all the edges for definition and added the scrolls stamping over the corners, before adhering the pieces to the card base. You could do this in so many other colour combinations.
Hope you like it!

Christmas cards No.6
OK a couple more! All the same colours/papers I have been using this year, just a few variations. Sometimes when creating a lot of cards at once you feel the need to make them all different, however if they're all going to be given to a variety of people, why reinvent the wheel?? I've had a lot of fun this year because I have given myself a break and kept it simple! Using left over pieces from one card to create another is OK!!!!
My favourite part of the blue card above is the 3D ornament and the strips of textured white cardstock (left over from cards in No.2 post). Note also the stamped background of baubles with versa mark ink and the words "very merry". Hope your Xmas is very merry too!

Christmas Cards No.4 and No.5
Hi again. Many cards in this post and maybe all I'll get done.......... once I get going though it's hard to stop! So here I have used up scrap strips of DS paper to create my own patchwork DS paper look which I've then put through the Big Shot with the Top Note die. Quick but effective. To finish off, a simple greeting and voila!
Now here I decided to get creative WITHOUT ANY STAMPING. The "letters to Santa" DS paper has such lovely designs which lend themselves to beautiful 12x12 scrapbooking pages. BUT they are also perfect when cut out and layered to make gorgeous quick "last minute" cards. The only addition was a ribbon on the ones on the left, otherwise it's all DS paper with the coordinating cardstock card bases. I love the "Blushing bride" pink cards. Not a colour usually used in Xmas cards, but as that is one of the colours in this paper range it works beautifully.
DON'T FORGET the December Frenzy sale!!!!! The "Every Moment" stamp set (pg 72) has already sold out and has returned to it's full retail price. Get in quick and don't miss out. I am taking orders all through the Christmas period. Sale ends Dec 31st.

Christmas Cards No.3
Getting into the spirit now! But time running out fast! Lucky none of my cards have to be posted overseas! The DS papers featured here are from the gorgeous set in our Idea Book & Catalogue called "Letters to Santa". I love the colour combo including marina mist and riding hood red. I've also used the ornament punch again which I've only just added to my collection. It's getting a work out! But again, get a production line going and I now have 6 more cards ready. Yeah.

Christmas cards! No. 2
This time I had to use one of my favourite colours, Baja Breeze and of course the Big Shot! The white cardstock has been put through the Big shot with the Square Lattice texture folder and the letters have also been cut out using this amazing tool! Other notable features here are the eyelet border and ornament punches. Anything that makes card making quick and simple is a winner with me!!!! Back soon with some more creations.

Christmas cards!
I have finally made a start! I always aim to make at least 6 cards with each basic layout. With a production line technique it only takes a few extra minutes to make multiple cards which is what we all need at this time of year!!!!
So here, all I have done is used two different DS papers and different images/greetings, but essentially the cards are identical. By doing one "portrait" and one "landscape" you end up with a nice variety. While these particular cards are very simple, they still look great. If you look closely you will see the images have been multi coloured with markers.

December is here!!!!!!!!!
What a crazy time of year. It's sale time and we have a BRAND NEW mini catalogue. I have ordered a pile of cattys and my regular customers on my mail list will all be getting one soon.
Make sure you check out the sale flyer. Just click on the image in the right side bar. Also check out the catty, it's so beautiful. Then email me asap so you don't miss out on these great specials.
I HAVE NOT started xmas cards yet, but have been working on teacher gifts. I like to try and give something useful so have gone with a standard gift of mine, a notebook. To make them a bit more special I have put each teacher's first initial on them. These are covered chipboard letters which have then been coated with crystal effects.
